On May 14th 2005, my 26 Yr old son noticed his thumb was
getting very sore. No wound was visible. By Wed. the 19th,
his whole hand was swollen and pulsing with pain. He went
to a doctor and the doctor threw him into the hospital and
they operated that night. It was Staph, and
it was spreading from his thumb, through his palm towards
his wrist. They took out a huge chunk of his thumb, about
1" square and 1/4th" deep, and ran tubes down towards
his palm to try and squeeze out the rest.
I found out about it Saturday morning (the 21st) and called
the hospital. They hadn't gotten all of it. He said they either
had to take off his hand or he would die.
I told him to get out of there and get to my place as soon
as he could. He took off with security after him!
I soaked his hand in 10 parts per million Colloidal Silver
for an hour and we cleaned it out as best we could, then spread
it with Bee Propolis and wrapped it up. I had him take 2oz
of Colloidal Silver at 5parts per million every hour and continued
the daily soaking and 2oz every day. For good measure, I added
1 tsp food grade H2O2 per quart of water and had him take
4 oz of that every two hours and 2000 mg of good Vitamin C
5 times a day.
(Lets face it, MRSA scared the crap out of me. I was going
to throw everything I could at it! I believed in the silver,
but I was not going to take chances with my son's life!)
That first night he slept without pain for the first time
in a week.
We continued the same treatment daily. By the 23rd, the hand
swelling was gone and the thumb was already starting to fill
in. It was still sore to the touch but no throbbing.
On Friday May 27th, the hole was less than half its width
and very shallow. No swelling at all. A week later, he went
to another doctor and the doctor refused to believe he had
had MRSA or that he had the operation any later than the 4th
of May. He wrote it so in his report.
One week later he went back to the original doctor from the
hospital, (the one that ordered his operation) and shocked
him good. All that was left of the surgery was a small 1/4"
scratch with a small band-aid on it.
Don't think he really believes what we did to cure it! My
son was back to work fixing cars on June 10th. Absolutely
no sign of the infection then or since!
NO bad infection can stand up to this kind of attack. Medicines
may fail, but this won't!
Today we are speaking with Chrystal, a 54 year old mother
from Florida who’s 27 year old son, Matthew, was affected
by a staph infection, commonly known as MRSA. In this interview
Chrystal shares her story, and how her son almost lost his
hand, and how she has been able to successfully control and
treat the symptoms using colloidal silver! It was a pleasure
speaking with Chrystal and I hope her story inspires demonstrates
that MRSA can in-fact be beaten.
Hi Chrystal, thanks so much for your time today, I
really appreciate it.
Hi Jane, thank you.
Chrystal, would you mind telling us a little about
your sons back-ground, what he does for work, his age etc.
Sure. Matthew is single, 27 and works for a tyre repair place.
Before that he worked as a metal spinner, and before that
as a machinist in our factory. He’s a good kid, although
he is way to fond of junk food and sodas!
Before we get started Chrystal, I would like to ask
you a few general questions, about Matthew and how he is health
wise, would that be okay?
Sure.
Would you consider your son Matthew an active healthy
person?
Matthew used to get the occasional cold but that was it. He
worked hard, typically six days a week so I would say relatively
active, yes.
Does he smoke or drink?
Yeah, he smokes maybe half a pack a day but doesn’t
drink.
So you’d say that Matthew was relatively issue
free in terms of his health?
Yes.
How old is Matthew?
He’s 29 now. He was diagnosed with MRSA when he was
27.
So what about the rest of the family. You say Matthew
was healthy, is there any history of illness in your family?
On my side of the family there is, yes. Diabetes, heart problems
and arthritis. On his father’s side no issues at all.
His father is Hawaiian and they have better dietary habits
than us Americans.
When did you first discover that Matthew had been
affected by the MRSA virus?
When he went to the doctor about his sore hand, and was thrown
into hospital.
Could you please tell us exactly what the scenario
was, the symptoms and what took place to prompt you to seek
medical assistance initially.
My son complained at work of a sore thumb. At first he thought
he had picked up a bit of wire from handling a tyre, as that
was the type of work he did. After a few hours the pain became
unbearable and he took himself to the hospital. They treated
it immediately as a potential staff infection and hospitalised
him. He called me later that night informing me of the severity
of the situation. Luckily I managed to eventually get him
out of there, as they were suggesting amputation.
Before being diagnosed, what was his daily routine
like? Do you believe that Matthew’s infection was a
direct result of anything in particular, as in diet related,
illness or surgery?
As said, it seemed to enter through a small scratch from the
worn part of an old tyre where the wire was showing. It hardly
opened the skin.
What was your reaction to discovering his MRSA infection?
Well at first, Matthew didn’t think too much about it,
until he saw the reaction of the doctor. Matthew didn’t
know much about it either. When it scared the crap out of
the doctor, that’s when Matthew began to panic.
Which particular strain of MRSA was Matthew diagnosed
with?
We don’t really know. We believe it was CA-MRSA.
Did you have any knowledge of the MRSA virus or how
severe the symptoms could potentially be when first diagnosed?
No not at all. I had read some articles online but both Matthew
and myself weren’t really aware of it, no.
Was the initial diagnosis successful or were you
misdiagnosed or treated incorrectly in any way? As in being
diagnosed with a spider bite or rash?
No we don’t believe they suggested it was anything but
MRSA. The doctors said it was MRSA, yes.
Once diagnosed, did you receive support and helpful
information regarding MRSA from the medical industry?
Looking back it was pretty bad. He was operated on, drugged,
and spent most of his time in the hospital totally “out
of it”. He can’t remember too much, but his girlfriend
said he was always either drugged to the point of being non
comprehensive or just asleep.
At any point did you feel helpless and alone? How
did you handle this? Where did you turn for help?
Yes, as soon as the doctor said they couldn’t help,
and that they couldn’t get it all. He then explained
how dangerous it was and that his hand would have to be amputated
and worst case, maybe part of his arm. I tell you, we almost
gave up hope, but I’m so glad I didn’t. I just
had to do everything in my power to fight this infection for
my son.
How did you handle the situation at home? What was
the level of impact within the household? Containment, prevention
of transferral, steps you took to disinfect, cleaning etc?
I made certain that I kept the house as clean as possible.
I read a number of articles on the internet on how best to
do this using bleach and lysol. The doctors also gave him
some material on the infection and I read those too. There
was some good tips on cleaning and prevention so I applied
those. I also cleaned myself, my son and everything that he
came into contact with, using colloidal silver.
Were there any products or cleaners that you would
recommend in terms of sanitisation? How did they help?
Bleach, Lysol and colloidal silver.
Were any direct family members also affected as a
result?
No.
What prescriptions were you given? What drugs were
administered or used and for how long?
None. He left the hospital without permission or any prescription
drugs. But we wouldn’t have used them anyway.
Apart from prescription drugs, what else have you
tried? Have you had any success?
Colloidal silver. It has cured my son completely.
If so, could you explain in detail what you did and
how you did it?
Sure. I soaked his hand in 10 parts per million Colloidal
Silver for an hour and we cleaned it out as best we could,
then spread it with Bee Propolis and wrapped it up. I had
him take 2oz of Colloidal Silver at 5parts per million every
hour and continued the daily soaking and 2oz every day. For
good measure, I added 1 tsp food grade H2O2 per quart of water
and had him take 4 oz of that every two hours and 2000 mg
of good Vitamin C 5 times a day.
If you did try alternate methods what prompted you
to do so?
I just knew I had to save him. Matthew’s condition was
worsening quickly and I most certainly didn’t want to
see him lose his hand or arm. I did everything in my power
to help him. I’m so glad I didn’t listen to the
doctors.
For someone else that has just recently been diagnosed,
what advice would you give them?
The same thing I did. I would now maybe add MMS to the mix,
at least for the first week. I didn’t know about it
back then.
What are 5 tips that are a must do – must know
when suffering from MRSA?
- Keep it clean. With colloidal silver would be my choice.
- If external, soak it long and regularly in strong colloidal
silver and take whatever oxygen therapy you can if possible.
- Lots of rest, try and avoid physical exercise.
- Have more carbohydrates than protein in your food (80/20)
That will lower your blood alkalinity to below what the
MRSA thrives on.
- Lots of water.
What are some tips that are definitely avoid or don’t
do’s when suffering from MRSA?
- AVOID PRESCRIPTION DRUGS. They contain toxins and have
side effects. Your body has enough to fight already!
- Avoid as much as possible white flour and white sugary
foods. Also avoid anything soy based unless it is fermented.
- You will feel better the first day. This does not mean
you should visit others! Remember you are infective, not
a nice thing to give to others.
- Eat only when you are hungry. Your body needs the energy
to fight and heal, not to digest all day and half the night.
- Stay away from sodas until you are well. They will be
an excuse not to drink as much water, and all have a corn
syrup derivative or imitation sugar compound of some sort.
All of which have a negative effect on the immune system.
Have there been any after affects of having MRSA?
As in depression or MRSA related illnesses?
No, none.
What has been the biggest change in your life since
being exposed to MRSA?
I learnt to appreciate the benefits of natural therapy as
opposed to the cut, drug and slash method.
Where is the best place to seek advice or get help
for someone that may be suffering from MRSA?
Natural health forums. At least I hope so by now. At the time
it was necessary to think hard and use common sense.
Have you been able to relieve the symptoms of MRSA
through a diet plan? If so how?
No, he is cured so we have no symptoms.
How many episodes of MRSA has Matthew had?
Matthew had just the one episode.
Has Matthew’s social life been limited in any
way as a result of MRSA, what activities has he taken up to
keep himself occupied?
He only stayed at home during the healing process. Apart from
that no, he’s back doing what he loves with his friends.
If you had one piece of advice to give someone that
had just been diagnosed what would that be?
Work on it FAST! This is one really BAD infection to have.
Tomorrow may be too late.
Excellent, thanks so much for your time today Chrystal,
I really appreciate it. Your story really is amazing.
Thanks, the more people that know about colloidal silver the
better.
- Avoid prescription medication.
- Soak the affected area if possible in 10 parts per million
Colloidal Silver for an hour each day. Clean it out as best
as yo can, then spread it with Bee Propolis and wrap it
up. Take 2oz of Colloidal Silver at 5parts per million every
hour and continue the daily soaking and 2oz every day. For
good measure, add 1 tsp of food grade H2O2 per quart of
water and take 4 oz of that every two hours.
- 2000 mg of good Vitamin C 5 times a day.
- Clean with bleach and a disinfectant spray. Use either
bleach, colloidal silver or Lysol.
- Work fast, don’t waste time.
- Avoid white flour, white sugar and soda pops.
